Tristy of the CATS is a cat cafe that is designed with cozy elements located in Tianzifang, Shanghai. It is designed by the Chinese design studio Parallect Design and is full of wooden ladders for the feline animals to climb around. With this is cat houses and small pathways for a playful space. It has white walls for a brighter feel and contrast to the wooden details.
The network of structures is intricately constructed as the second and third floors of the cafe as holes in the floor. Speaking about this choice, Parallect Design notes that “The hole on the third floor [has] become the most favorite space for the cats. Cats climbing the ladders [has] also become an interesting scene in the café.”
