Juxtaposed Body Shapes

The Size Issue in V Magazine Contrasts Skinny and Curvaceous

Terry Richardson photographed an editorial for The Size Issue in V Magazine capturing svelte Jacquelyn Jablonski along with curvaceous plus-sized model Crystal Renn. Both women had the same hair, makeup and outfits, and posed in nearly the same ways, which added some major oomph and emphasis to the shapely juxtaposition.

Unlike some magazines that focus their "healthy body image" features on only larger frames, The Size Issue in V Magazine offers both skinny and curvy, a refreshing twist that doesn't knock women who are naturally more lean.

"Richardson's photo spread takes on the myth that bright, form-fitting fashion can only work on girl with a 24 inch waist and succeeds in making those Proenza Schouler skirts look just as fashionable around Renn's 41 inch hips," Coutorture says.

The V Magazine Size Issue hits stands mid January 2010.
