Here's a Kickstarter smartphone charger project that has a real sense of attracting customers.
Forgive the terrible pun, but it's pretty appropriate when talking about the smartphone charger system that is the Neo-Plug by Jacob Brozek. With so many different proprietary plugs for so many different smartphones and devices, it can be difficult to keep them all straight and it can also be pretty dangerous to try and plug in a device while driving or otherwise distracted. The Neo-Plug solves that problem by using a similar technology than what is used in Apple's MacBook chargers, but with a more universal slant. Simply put the end of the cord into pre-placed magnets in the device, and presto, you're charging without having to take take your eyes off the road and a minimum of taking your hands off the wheel.
