The Schwood Canby Sunglasses Let You be One With Nature

We’ve seen wooden sunglasses before—Trend Hunter covered some wooden Wayfarers not too long ago—but these Schwood Canby shades are unique in that they were brought into existence through what Schwood calls “a simple experiment with nature.”

As described on their site, the sunglasses brand Schwood was created through a constant search for a fresh aesthetic appeal. The Schwood Canby, which resembles the Wayfarer, is the brand’s debut model; they also have another style called the Govy, with a boxier frame. Schwood’s shades are completely handcrafted and feature wooden frames that have received minimal manipulation in the crafting process. Schwood explains that this is in order to showcase the wood’s natural and unique qualities.
