Out of the three series of equally visually stunning pictures by Craig Easton, Place 02 is still by far my favorite. As opposed to Place 03, which mainly emphasizes on architectural photography, Place 02 focuses more on landscape photography by capturing the splendor of the natural world of beautiful skies, agrarian landscapes, rough seas and calm rivers, with the exception of one picture that depicts the city from a bird’s eye view.
What I really appreciate about Place 02 is the fact that Easton manages to achieve the perfect contrast, which gives each and every photo in the series a visual punch, and consequently, further accentuating the beauty of nature.
