At first the Samurai Cabinet looks like a work of art and in many ways it is. Yet it is a piece of furniture first and foremost. What sets it apart from similar armoires is its attention to detail as well as its sculptural application. The Samurai Cabinet is made up of blade-like wooden arms that rotate independently of each other in order to create different shapes and silhouettes.

Designed by Sebastian Errazuriz, who is known for his abundance of creativity, the Samurai Cabinet puts on quite the performance. Core77 writes, "The arms jump to action with a simple slide of the finger, thanks to a counterbalanced pivot point on each of the planks—flip an entire side of wooden arms at once and your ears are in for a treat."
