Ryan McLennan Shows the Disturbing Side of a Peaceful Animal

— February 17, 2011 — Art & Design
If Bullwinkle ever went American Psycho on Smokey the Bear, these Ryan McLennan illustrations might be the most accurate portrayal of what might happen.

Richmond, VA-based artist Ryan McLennan illustrated a series of moose tearing bears apart. Through decapitation and severe mutilation, these animals shows the predators who the boss of the woods are. I suppose years of repressed anxiety from being the prey to the predators have finally caught up to these once-peaceful creatures.
