The Royal Oak Offshore Collection Adds New 42 Mm and 37 Mm Models

— June 3, 2026 — Fashion
The Royal Oak Offshore collection is expanding with new Selfwinding Chronograph models in 42 mm and 37 mm case sizes. The Royal Oak Offshore collection introduces vibrant summer-inspired colorways across stainless steel, titanium, and pink gold executions. The 42 mm models feature Méga Tapisserie dials accented with pink, turquoise, yellow, and orange details inspired by offshore racing boats. Available in three variations, the watches are powered by Audemars Piguet’s Calibre 4404 flyback chronograph movement with a 70-hour power reserve and a visible 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight.

The 37 mm models introduce titanium to the Royal Oak Offshore range for the first time and debut the new in-house Calibre 6401 chronograph movement. The watches feature updated Tapisserie dials, redesigned case details, and options that include titanium, pink gold, and diamond-set bezels.

Trend Themes

  1. Micro-size Luxury Chronographs — Demand for sub-40 mm high-complication watches creates room for compact chronograph architectures and novel miniaturized movements that challenge traditional calibres.
  2. Vibrant Summer Colorways — Bold seasonal palettes enable modular strap-and-bezel ecosystems and limited-run color platforms that redefine product lifecycle and personalization economics.
  3. Lightweight Luxury Materials — Adoption of titanium and mixed-metal executions points to opportunities for new alloy processing and surface treatments that lower weight while preserving premium finish.

Industry Implications

  1. Fine Watchmaking — Heritage brands face pressure to integrate in-house micro-movements and flyback tech into smaller cases, shifting R&D and manufacturing priorities.
  2. Luxury Fashion Accessories — Cross-category design motifs and colorful dials suggest collaborations and co-branded capsule collections that alter traditional accessory assortment strategies.
  3. Advanced Materials Manufacturing — Demand for durable, lightweight, and decorative metals indicates potential for surface engineering firms to supply bespoke alloys and finishing services to haute horlogerie.
