Remi Van Oers Creates Industrial Designs Perfect for Reading

When I think about it, reading is such an important activity that I’m surprised there isn’t more furniture out there like the ones recently designed by Remi Van Oers. Created to advocate this intelligent and fun pastime, it boasts a lot of features that helps all book nerds out there.

Essentially, Remi Van Oers’ reading furniture is comprised of four comfortable and rather futuristic-looking designs.  There are two seats (one with a built-in reading light), a table and a lamp. Each piece is quipped with book storage spaces, which are conveniently found beneath the seats and table as well as vertically along the side of the floor lamp.

Made out of wood and fabric, Remi Van Oers’ reading furniture is modern and minimalist.
