Here’s another hot toaster design, and this one is portable. Kim Been has developed this concept of a bread toaster that resembles a butter knife. You spread the heat with the iron-like ceramic unit.

Illustrations of vines and butterflies appear and multiply as the bread becomes browner beneath the Portable Toaster. The sleek unit can sit right on your table and is ready to go when you need a second slice.

You would have to have patience for this one; only a single slice is toasted at a time and you can’t be multi-tasking by pouring your coffee at the same time.
