'Incredible' Beckham New Marc Jacobs Ad

— March 21, 2008 — Luxury
I do not get the new Marc Jacobs ad featuring Victoria Beckham. I know it's supposed to be avant-garde and all, but it comes off as just plain weird. I much prefer her earlier goofy Marc Jacobs ads (see two images below). Maybe that's what works best, sticking Victoria in a huge shopping bag!

Victoria strikes a robotic pose with a confused/lost look on her face while wearing a rather strange raven black headpiece.

Her hair style compliments the bizarre tape draped around her neck and shoulders for an added weirdness.

However, I have to say that the black Marc Jacobs bag looks absolutely beautiful. And I guess that's what matters...
