Artist Nathaniel Russell Illustrates Adolescent-Lite Drawings

Nathaniel Russell is a 35-year-old Indianapolis, Indiana native with a penchant for illustrating posters that are equal parts childish as they are hilarious.

Nathaniel Russell is a well travelled artist whose art career began 11-years-ago when he began his residency at the Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, California. He spent seven years there before moving to BC, and since then, his artwork has been seen by thousands of people across the world. Nathaniel Russell’s artwork has been featured in exhibitions in San Francisco, Brooklyn, San Paulo, Brazil, Mexico City, Mexico, and Melbourne, Australia, just to name a few.

The highlights of this selected glance at Nathaniel Russell’s portfolio include a ridiculous poster for a pizza party, which oddly enough, precedes a lecture. Another great one features a man with severe stage fright performing a song (sans shoes), with the words ‘I don’t remember the words to the song I’m to be singing right now at this moment right now.’
