The Meo Shelf by Olivier Desrochers is Dynamically Simple

The Meo Shelf is inspired by the look of scaffolding. The yellow metal propping up each wooden surface mimics the planks that hold scaffolding systems together. A simple concept, the Meo Shelf nevertheless gives the classic shelving unit a dynamic facelift that allows it to fit nicely into both traditional and modern homes.

Created by Montreal-based designer Olivier Desrochers, the Meo Shelf is made out of solid oak planks and steel supports. The steel is available in a number of colors, from which a person can choose. A relatively low lying design, it will provide a great space for storage while adding a touch of decor to the specific area it is placed in. By combining both form and function, the Meo Shelf is the best of two worlds. Stats for Scaffolding-Inspired Shelving Trending: Older & Warm
