The Drift installation by Snarkitecture is an inflatable pavilion structure showcased at Design Miami. The Brooklyn-based design firm creates a whimsical hangout that takes its inspiration from the natural world around us.

Channeling icicle shapes, hanging tubes are grouped together, hanging at different heights and resembling stalactites within an ice cave. This inspiring space is created using inflated vinyl tubes grouped together as an enclosure that does not block out light but instead allows for the sun's rays to pass through it.

Serving as both a ceiling form and as seating units for visitors, these cylindrical tubes create a dreamlike setting. The Drift installation by Snarkitecture challenges the boundaries of traditional design and can be seen displayed at this year's Design Miami festival.
