The Dear America Series by Zara Features 50 Photographers

The worlds of fashion and photography often mix to create stunning works of art, but the ‘Dear America’ series curated by Zara incorporates landscape photography into the campaign in a whole new way. The Spanish retailer created the photo project to commemorate the launch of its new U.S. online store. Using the work of 50 photographers, each picture represents one of the American states from the point of view of someone who lives there.

From stunning mountaintop views to funny shots of quirky signs and roadside attractions, the ‘Dear America’ series takes you on a cross-country trip and serves as an homage to the country’s beautiful landscapes and sights. My favorite shot is the ‘Dear Mississippi’ photo by Jake Stangel, which takes you to the swing ride of a state fair on a warm summer night, and immediately has me feeling nostalgic about summer.
