The Chute Bag is a convenient tote to have on hand. Not only is it both lightweight and roomy, it is collapsible, which allows the Chute Bag to pack up easily when not in use. Made out of parachute material, the tote folds in on itself just like the real thing.
Designed by Michael Pappas, a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chute Bag is a combination of silnylon, carbon fiber, paracord and aluminum. The aluminum part makes up the handle, which is pulled when the person wants the paracord running throughout the Chute Bag to tighten and compress the whole tote. Once compressed, the bag can then be stored in the handle. It was presented during the Milan Furniture Fair.
