The design of Casa Loredo thoughtfully addresses its challenging coastal site through strategic orientation and protective elements like sheltered courtyards and extended eaves. Expansive glazing, on the other hand, maintains visual connectivity with the dramatic seascape. Material selections showcase a respectful modernization of vernacular techniques — limestone masonry walls executed with traditional craftsmanship alongside contemporary applications of wood and glass create a dialogue between old and new.
