Augmented reality and CG computer graphics have changed the way that people interact with the virtual world and the Canon Mixed Reality System is set to alter perceptions even more.

A somewhat clunky headset with two integrated cameras rests on the user's head and creates a virtual world that the user can interact with in real time. Not only do the 3D representations of various objects exist for users to touch and see, but they also react based on the user's movements.

This technology will be extremely useful for developmental product design as it allows developers the ability to test out their invention without having to spend any money on prototype models.
It would also be cool for those who are getting sick of traditional video games and want to interact with computer-generated objects in real life. Stats for Interactive Virtual World Simulators Trending: Older & Average
