DIY Music Videos - Animoto Slide Shows (VIDEO)

Animoto is an easy-to-use website that allows you to create completely customized music videos using your own photographs. This is the future of animated slide shows; you’ll never go back to PowerPoint presentations again!

After selecting a song of your choice and the images you want integrated in the video, Animoto automatically detects the pace of your tune and syncs the photos to display in rhythm with your music.

Step 1: Images
I signed up for the free service, and pulled together 17 photos from my last trip to Beijing. My files sizes were huge, so it took a while to upload, but if you don’t mind doing a bit of prep work, shrinking the photo size before will cut down the upload time.

Step 2: Music
You can either choose from their sound library, or upload a song from your own computer. It gives a friendly reminder that if uploaded from your PC, to use a legit, legal version. Nice!

Step 3: Finalize
Add your title and description details. After that, there are tools that allow you to remix, send to a friend, upload to YouTube and post/embed.
