This series of anatomy artwork was created by Salvatore Zanfrisco. He is an Italian illustrator with quite the intriguing sense of humor. His unusual drawings, which are made entirely from his penmanship, feature the hidden anatomy within the human body.

Each illustration features a "headshot" of his subjects, but different parts of their faces and necks are stripped away to reveal what is hiding underneath their flesh. While it may sound gruesome, the images are actually quite comical because they infuse mainstream concepts.

Titled ‘Anatomy Of,' the series gives viewers a "glance at what's in our heart, our mind, [and] our soul." In some cases, people may have Super Mario and Luigi on their mind, have Babe Ruth chocolate bars clogging their arteries or have the chest of a bear.
