KEF Uses MAT to Develop the New R Series of Speakers

Hifi audio brand KEF upgrades its iconic R Series of speakers with MAT, which is its Metamaterial Absorption Technology to bring an elevated listening experience. The British audio company features seven impressive selections of loudspeakers that include a set of three floor standing models in the R11 Meta, R7 Meta, and the R5 Meta.

It also has the R3 Meta, which is able to rest on a bookshelf. All of these are designed to create a high-fidelity sound for a powerful experience. The brand also notes that the speakers are tuned to help “users to discover depth and detail they never knew existed." The rest of the R Series highlights the R6 Meta and the R2 Meta which are two center speakers.
