Celebrated photographer Yann Gross has once again proven his tremendous talent with this latest series. Gross was commissioned to capture these photos, which display the work of ten hopeful designers, all vying for recognition at the 26th International Fashion & Photography Festival Hyères 2011. The serene snapshots all embrace earthy tones and environmental themes. Gross intentionally chose to shoot in fields and forests, toying with the relationship between humans, environment, and fashion. The presence of pets in the portraits also contributes to the ‘grassroots’ theme running throughout the stunning series.
