Retro Camera Room Lights

The Vintage Camera Nightlight is Perfect for Night-Fearing Shutterbugs

Fans of retro photography are really going to dig the Vintage Camera Nightlight. Jason Hull of the aptly named Etsy store Jayfish turns old cameras from the 50s and 60s into awesome nightlights. Retro cameras are currently taking the world by storm, but even some cameras are too old to be put back into service by the hipster photographers of today.

The Vintage Camera Nightlight is what should happen to an old camera when it's too dated to become hip. The exterior of the camera is left virtually untouched to show the signs and scars of aging. The standard flashbulb has been replaced to hold a nightlight's bulb and the camera has been fitted with a 120v plug. Each Vintage Camera Nightlight is made to order and sells for $65 a pop.
