A mirror maze fit for carnival funhouses, this installation is meant to be navigated by one's nose. Inspired by the Shakespearian comedy 'The Merry Wives of Windsor,' the scent of aphrodisiac is what leads people to the heart of the maze.
Created by Bompas & Parr for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom, The Waft That Woos explores the themes of love and confusion found in the play. It also gives "visitors a tangible Shakespearian experience, exploding narratives, characterisation and criticism to an architectural and inhabitable scale," according to the designers.
