Sometimes the best kind of social commentary is made through pictures alone; words need not be said as the power of an image can convey all. The Original Hipster—a photo editorial shot by Julia Chesky with art direction by Ali Lee—sees a homeless model bearing the social norms of a modern socialite.

Chris, who has choosen to live the past few decades on the streets of New York, wears some crazy bling and carries several bags from high end stores.
