The Sun Bike Puts an Eco-Friendly Twist on the Christiania Bike

The Christiania bike has been given a modern makeover in the form of the Sun bike. The Sun bike is a three-wheeled electric bicycle, with a forward storage bin designed to hold children, groceries, pets and whatever else you can fit inside of it.

The Sun Bike improves upon the design of the Christiania bike through its addition of solar panels. The solar panels capture from the energy from the sun, energy that is then used to assist the rider in pedaling. The entire cargo bin is covered in solar panels, allowing for the bike to be multifunctional even when there’s no one/nothing in the cargo hold. This design would surely be a hit in Europe, where Christiania bikes are most popular.
