Schilte & Portielje are a Dutch couple that have created a dark and edgy world inhabited by solitary and mysterious people through their art. Jacqueline Portielje studied painting and Huub Schilte is an architect by trade. When they met in 1975, they inspired each other to create these haunting pieces of art.
