Reem Acra has never been one to skimp on glamor and luxury, but with the Reem Acra Spring 2012 collection, the designer brought that elegance and sensuality to daytime wear in a way that not many designers have done in the past -- and certainly none have done during New York Fashion Week this year.

"I want to keep a luxurious look in daywear," Acra told Style.com. Animal prints, sequins, and gorgeous graphic prints in dramatic, luscious colors added a richness to the Reem Acra Spring 2012 collection that is currently unprecedented in Spring fashion, let alone daytime clothing.

Evening wear, however, also proved to be a show stopper at the Reem Acra Spring 2012 show. Floor-length gowns in nude shades were covered in sequins, leaving a stunningly simple, bohemian finish.
