The Neon Museum is Where Las Vegas Lights Go to Die

Most graveyards are somber places, but I don't get that vibe at all looking at these pictures from the Neon Museum. Nicknamed "The Neon Boneyard," the Neon Museum is the resting place of over 150 Las Vegas street lights and the extensive collection actually provides a lot of insight into the city's history and culture.

If you're a fan of colorful retro aesthetics and playful typography like me, then you're probably awe-stricken by some of the signs featured in this collection of photographs. From steakhouses to gas stations, every sign imaginable can be found at the Neon Museum. But what's even more visually stunning is the way these signs are deteriorating. It's as though the superficiality of the signs are being overcome by time and it's just neat seeing neon signs when they're not in their tip top condition.
