German artist Markus Linnenbrink takes the term "one man's garbage is another man's treasure" to a whole new level with his Gestaltkunstwerk Vases. He literally takes old pop bottles and juice jugs and smothers them with psychedelic coats of laquer to make some pretty trippy flower holders.
The Gestaltkunstwerk Vases, which translated to English means "formed artwork", have the appearance as if they were carved from stone, with the laquer giving them a very sturdy appearance.
