The mother of Matthew McConaughey’s baby, Camila Alves, and her mother Multo Abrigado have just launched a line of gorgeously designed leather purses. The Brazilian born beauty, who recently gave birth to baby Levi, moved to New York at age 19 to pursue her modeling career. Now, 5 years later she and her mother have, “created a handbag that was both practical and fashionable and of the highest quality yet still sexy,” says Alves.
Honestly, I love the bags. The distressed finishes, the embossed logo and the fringes are a little rock ‘n roll with a touch of 70’s hippy style.
They have also included a men’s line. Not so farfetched – we’ve seen Matthew sporting a ‘manbag’ now and then, and Alves says there are more designs in the works. There is a ‘Babies’ category on the Muxo website that results in a ‘Coming Soon’ notification. Hum...what could we be looking forward to here?
