Toothpick City Scapes

San Francisco in 100,000 Toothpicks

Artist Scott Weaver has spent literally years -- 35, to be exact -- building a 9 foot tall model of San Francisco using no less that 100,000 toothpicks.

He has named this toothpick model and installation “Rolling Through the Bay.” The really clever, albeit show off part, is that it also features a ball which rolls through the toothpick sculpture, touring famous San Francisco locations.

Randomly for something so awesome. It made its debut last week at the Sonoma County Fair where. unsurprisingly. it won best of show, being the judges' pick.
