Constantinos Economides believes he can help save old chairs including favourite ones by repurposing them into rockers. He has designed curved wooden platforms where the chairs can be strapped on. There are two sizes of platforms - the smaller one is for single chairs whilst the larger one can accommodate both a chair and a crib. Now that would put both a baby AND the parent to sleep!
The designer says, 'Like an entry level roller skate that can be strapped under any shoe, the rocker is an adaptable extension that turns any stool or chair into a toy." The platforms are made from solid ash and produced by Batch Design in Brighton.
