Nidus Team Work Nest

Nest – Sammelstiftung, a Swiss independent pension fund company, is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and looked to the designers at BureaudeBank in the Netherlands to design this unusual gift for its employees to celebrate the Silver anniversary.

The birds nest, which is called the 'Nidus', was designed by BureaudeBank. It is is comprised of 300 individual silver twigs, each of which meant to act “as a symbol of their value to the company. Together, the twigs form a nest, a solid and durable structure that represents security, collaboration, future, humanity and nature.” This is a beautiful representation of teamwork that I'm sure the employees will treasure.

Each tiny silver twig is presented in a package that includes a pin which converts the twig into a wearable brooch.
