Leaf-Shaped Lights

‘Sinthesya' Solar Lamp Mimics Photosynthesis

This gorgeous indoor/outdoor light is called 'Sinthesya,' and it's designed by Daniele Calisi, Alessio Tommasetti, Rosa Topputo and Camillo Vanacore. The solar lamp looks just like a plant, and it acts like one too, deriving its energy in the technological equivalent of photosynthesis.

'Sinthesya' has photovoltaic panels on its outside and 10 LED lights on its underside, according to Yanko Design. Recycled ABS with silicone rubber details make the lamp both eco-friendly and appropriate for outdoor use.

Implications - The ‘Sinthesya’ solar lamp is very innovative in that it can be used just as easily indoors as it can outdoors. This is certainly a lamp that I would like have.
