There’s a lot of media hype surrounding Nadya Suleman, her octuplets, and her other 6 children. This, combined with the fact that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar – you know, the parents of 18 kids? – have announced that they are expecting (if you do the math, that brings them to 19!) has sparked me to dwell on the number of baby products available.

While baby clothing has run the gamut, what’s really interesting is the number of functional baby products out there. Because we all know that at the rate that babies grow (uh, really fast), clothing just isn’t all that functional. What’s more useful is a growth chart that you can remove once your baby has stopped growing (which I hope is somewhere in their late teens) to avoid unwanted door/wall markings.
