From the geek to the mean girl, many people are envious of preppy cheerleader style. Maybe it’s the short uniforms, maybe it’s the athletic ability and hot physique or maybe it’s the close proximity to hot football players, but for some reason the appeal of cheerleaders never fades.

The spirited sport actually started in 1877 at Princeton and was an all-male activity. From there it grew to the glamorous and girly sport that we know today. Even some world leaders have been pompom pushers. The most famous being President George W. Bush.
