320˚ Licht by Urbanscreen Creates Art in an Industrial Space

320˚ Licht is an interactive art project by German design studio Urbanscreen. The project is meant to transform an industrial gasholder into a visually striking gallery space.

Located in Oberhausen, Germany, the gasholder has been used in previous art projects and is transformed again with the help of stunning visual projections.
Urbanscreen features eight team members with expertise in architecture, music, stage design and media art. The design firm specializes in large-scale projections on urban surfaces and this open 20 000 square meter space is no exception.

The industrial space's 100 meter ceiling height acts as a canvas from "21 projectors that feed one screen on which visitors view a light show in 22 minute loops".
