In the retail space, Ringo Studio outfits the interior for fitness brand Bala's store, located in New York. Taking cues from the client's range of products, the designers utilized a pastel color palette and whimsical fitness-inspired sculptures. Contemporary brand Jems Condoms partnered with Montreal-based brand PRNGRPHY for a more limited playful branding activation. Celebrating the latter's 2022 streetwear launch and seeking to promote freedom of expression, the Jems Condom x PRNGRPH pop-up certainly connected with Toronto residents.
Finally, playful branding can also factor in the aesthetic of the products themselves and no one shows this better than home goods brand Staff. With its whimsical plunger, the company shows individuals that one may insert a little joy in even the most mundane of objects.
