Solidwool Presents its Welsh Mountain Hembury Chair

UK-based brand Solidwool presents a look at its new material which is made using a blend of bio-resin and wool to create the special Welsh Mountain Hembury Chair. It is a unique textural furniture design that is formed to take on a fiberglass-like composite, which is notably made from part wool that is garnered from Welsh Mountain Sheep.

This offers a more sustainable alternative to injected molded plastic material, which is unfortunately a common chair design material. Andy Gaurd, creative director of Solidwool explains, "When you see the Solidwool material, it draws you in. You can't help but want to touch it. It plays with your mind. The Hembury is a unique chair which celebrates and showcases the possibilities of a wool composite. It is designed to be cherished and be handed down through generations."
