Always the trendsetter, Miuccia Prada asked Hedi Slimane to helm the Asian-inspired Prada Spring 2010 ad campaign. Slimane came up with a black and white series of photographs that harken back to the streets and lounges of early 20th century China.
Chinese models both male and female populate the landscape along with a few Caucasian male models, which is highly unusual for Prada but extremely refreshing. Chinese artist Yang Fudong contributed a video for the Prada Spring 2010 ad campaign. Watch Yang’s video and then click through the gallery for more of Hedi Slimane’s beautiful photographs for Prada.
