For Euro Pride 2018, Swedish public transportation company Västtrafik shows its support for the LGBTQ+ community through the ultra-vibrant redesign of its streetcars. The 'Proud Tram' project celebrates diversity and freedom of expression in Gothenburg. The initative is described as a "moving art exhibition" and one that celebrates individuality "regardless of who you are, and who you love."
Six colors are depicted by Västtrafik's line numbers. During Euro Pride 2018 — a festival which runs from the 14th until the 19th of August, residents and visitors of Gothenburg can witness a visual reinterpretation of the rainbow.
Photographs of the creativity-focused Euro Pride-celebrating trams are up for auction, with all proceeds going to human rights organization RFSL.
