16 Plaid Fashions for Winter

Plaid patterns are a fall and wintertime staple--A-listers like Hilary Duff, the Olsen twins and Katie Holmes are regularly spotted in this grunge-era style. The simplest way to wear plaid is by pairing plaid patterns on top with well-tailored jeans or close-fitting tights on the bottom, as Ellen Pompeo has done in the third image.
