35 Stereotypical Holiday Treats

When thinking about Christmas themed food items there are certain characteristics you expect to see. It can't possibly be a proper jolly holiday unless there are Santa desserts, snowman cookies, Rudolph snacks and Gingerbread men.

For years these characters have shown up time and time again on the packaging of perishables and the surface of tasty eats. Just like the flavor of fall is characterized by cinnamon, the flavor of winter is peppermint. Therefore, Christmas without candy canes popping up everywhere you turn would be quite disorienting.

Some may find Christmas themed food a little cheesy and overplayed. There is only so many times you can marvel at a snowman cupcake. However, they do bring a certain childlike joy to the holidays.
