Gibson has expanded its Victory lineup with the introduction of the Victory Floyd Rose — a new model handcrafted at the brand's Nashville craftory that answers years of player demand for a Floyd Rose locking vibrato system on this platform.
Building on the foundation of the Victory Figured Top, the Victory Floyd Rose guitar features a mahogany double-cutaway body with an AA figured maple top, a 25.5-inch scale mahogany neck carved to a SlimTaper profile, and an ebony fretboard with a compound radius and 24 medium jumbo frets. The Floyd Rose system is paired with a six-on-a-side Explorer-style headstock, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, and a locking nut. These ensure reliable tuning stability even under aggressive vibrato use, while the electronics configuration includes two uncovered 80s Tribute humbuckers with zebra bobbins, wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and selectable inner or outer coil options.
