Nepal's Vertical University Will Have Campuses in Different Biomes

Experiential learning is a great way for students to gain a solid understanding of the concepts in question, and the upcoming 'Vertical University' in Nepal is designed to deliver as broad an experiential learning environment as possible. The university, which has been planned by local designers at KTK-BELT Studio, will feature six campuses spread across five different climate zones, making use of the natural features of Nepal to better instruct students on environmental variance.

Nepal is famously mountainous, and though the country is relatively small in terms of horizontal area, it nonetheless has huge amount of biodiversity because of the climatic differences at various elevation points. The Vertical University will use this natural rise and fall to its advantage in teach students about environmentally friendly practices.
