The 'Twenty' Project Eliminates Water and Ships Just Product

A large amount of household products are made from 80% or more water which means that the majority of the weight comes from plain old H2O, so the 'Twenty' project packaging design concept identifies what could be done to solve this.

Designed by Mirjam de Bruijn, the various packaging designs consist of products like shampoo and laundry detergent that have no water in the mix but only product. This is contained in a water bottle that requires consumers to add water to dilute the product and use it as they otherwise would.

As concerns about climate change rise and consumers become more aware of how the modern market is affecting the planet, we'll likely see more innovative approaches to conserving energy like with the 'Twenty' project packaging.
