The Amble One is an Open-Air Electric Microcar

The Amble One is a street-legal electric microcar developed by Portuguese startup Amble for short-distance transportation. Designed by a team led by former Audi and Apple designer Julian Hoenig alongside Cowboy co-founder Adrien Roose, the L7e-homologated vehicle weighs under 450kg and pairs a 15kW rear-wheel-drive motor with a 12kWh lithium-ion battery. The open-air design features an exposed aluminum frame, cork steering wheel, marine-grade canvas and leather seating, while offering an estimated range of 62 miles and a top speed electronically limited to 40mph.

Inspired by the 1971 NASA lunar rover, the vehicle will launch in three configurations: a four-seat passenger model, a pickup variant with an open load bed and a cargo version with a lockable storage compartment. The modular platform is engineered for hospitality, leisure and local transport applications, with charging completed in approximately five and a half hours from a standard household outlet.
