Myrto is the name of a Sardinia pizzeria that was created by Studio Wok to capture the essence of the island's natural elements. With the use of earthy tones, organic elements and granite rocks, the spacious interior design recalls a cave with sandy pink walls, curving walls and cement floors.
The space was designed to reflect the way that Sardinia's granite rocks are shaped by the wind, turning them into architectural structures that can actually be inhabited. The simple, storytelling interior offers a unique experience of the region and it includes details that are meaningful to the island, such as colorful tiles.
The pizzeria also includes a large outdoor patio, which continues to work with natural elements as a seamless extension of the interior.
