The Plant-Based Bac'n Cheezeburger Shares Three Alternatives

At The University of Massachusetts Dining Program, Sweet Earth Foods is introducing a Plant-Based Bac'n Cheezeburger in celebration of National Cheeseburger Day. The Plant-Based (PB) Triple Play sets itself apart as the first fully plant-based bac'n cheezeburger to debut in foodservice and, true to its name, it shares plant-based alternatives in the form of meat and cheese alternatives.

At the core of the Sweet Earth PB Triple Play is the Sweet Earth Awesome Burger, which is said to taste and cook just like a regular beef hamburger thanks to the use of ingredients like yellow pea protein. The plant-based burger gets its smoky flavor from crispy Sweet Earth Bac'n, plus American-style Cheeze slices that stretch and melt just like classic cheese. The satisfying plant-based burger boasts 27 grams of protein.
